Floor Staff

Experienced Waiting Staff (Full-Time and Part-Time positions available)

We are on the lookout for experienced waiting staff of all levels to join our family at Cyprus Avenue. We offer a mix of breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts with flexible working hours where possible for the right candidates.

Responsibilities:

· Meet, greet and seat guests with a warm, friendly style of service. We aim to ensure all guests feel welcome and at home upon entering Cyprus Avenue restaurant

· Learn to use our reservation system confidently (training will be provided)

· Learn our menus, descriptions and origins along with an array of daily food and drink specials

· Confidently run a section alone during a busy service ensuing our guests want for nothing

· Communicate and advise on daily special and menus items best suited to your guests, comply with company food allergen regulations

· Work at a fast pace along with the rest of the team, efficiently, effectively and always maintaining a sense of urgency

· Check in our guests during service, upsell when appropriate

· Be able to communicate with management at the first sign of an unhappy or dissatisfied guest

· Ensure guests are never left waiting for anything, confidently answer the phone and deal with guest enquires

· Help to maintain our high levels of service and augment our restaurant’s reputation

· Assist the manager on duty in setting up each service accordingly and closing down the restaurant at a high standard

· Cleaning duties are part of your job role, we do not out source a cleaning company nor do we have specific cleaning staff

Requirements:

· Work efficiently as part of the team helping to support your co-workers where necessary

· Punctuality and reliability is a must! Lateness and regular absences will not be tolerated

· Carry a professional presence at all times on the restaurant floor in the presence of guests during operating hours

· Strong people and communication skills

· Positive attitude with a willingness to learn

· Strong work ethic

Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
