Job Summary
The duties of this position: .this position is a cleaner that can clean kitchen equipment, deep clean floors. Take down the hood filters and clean them. Break apart stoves and clean them. They will be using industrial degreaser and protective equipment where applicable. Attention to detail while cleaning, and cleaning in a safe manner.
The Food Service Worker I performs duties of washing dishes/pots/pans.
Pay Range
Minimum $17.22 Midpoint $22.82 Maximum $28.42
Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience
Medium - High energy level Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Push/pull +/- 150-200 lbs. (Patients on bed, stretcher) Lateral transfer 150-200 lbs. (ie. Patient) .

Experience
- Required: Minimum one year of general food service experience.

Preferred: 2+ years of experience with food service.
- Required: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience can be accepted in lieu of education.

Preferred: Associate degree.
- Required: Ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English. General kitchen knowledge in food safety, sanitation, & production. Ability to organize time; promote teamwork to achieve CHOC's mission; understand and exceed customer expectations.

Preferred: Computer skills. Ability to use web based programs.
- Required: None.

Preferred: Serv-Safe certification.
