Forklift Operator (Afternoon & Night )

Job Description

A Forklift Operator will ensure freight is properly loaded and/or unloaded with the proper bill control and supporting documentation. In a productive, safe, error-free, and time-sensitive manner.

Schedule:

Afternoon: 3:00PM to 11:30PM - Monday to Friday.

Night: 11:00PM to 07:30AM - Sunday to Thursday

Duties & Responsibilities

• Load/unload trailers according to company procedures.
• Identification of OS&D freight.
• Completion of the necessary documentation with care.
• Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure a clean workspace and carry out housekeeping duties when assigned.
• All other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of previous warehouse experience is an asset.
• 1-2 years of previous counterbalance forklift experience is preferred.
• Cross-dock experience is considered an asset.
• Written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a time-sensitive environment.
• A criminal record search will be requested upon conditional offers.
