- Lead, coach, and mentor team members including dock managers and workers
- Be in constant contact through visits and phone/email with our Carrier Partners (CP's) and individual customer locations/dealers
- Manages team through metrics and also the communication to/from the customer while prioritizing issues and resolutions
- Drive continuous improvement across the area of operations by setting goals, assigning projects, and ensuring that each member of the team has the training and resources to be successful
- Knowledgeable on the requirements of each customer and their contracts
- Development of action plans and communicate and coordinate with the District Manager
- Performs cross dock audits, facilities maintenance, security, and equipment

Other job duties as assigned
- Frequent travel to cross dock locations, Carrier Partner facilities, and customer sites
- Ability to have constant communication via phone and email and onsite visits
- Flexible with working long hours and extra days as needed
- Six (6) years' experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Warehousing
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Transportation preferred
- Management experience in transportation/logistics including dock and cross dock operations
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office including; Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding problem solving and conflict resolution skills
