Freelance Food Hygiene Auditor

Job Overview

We are looking for a certified and detail-oriented Food Hygiene Auditor to perform compliance audits at F&B outlets. This freelance role offers advance-scheduled shifts, flexible hours, and meaningful work contributing to food safety standards.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $350 per day (9-hour workday)
• Engagement: ~5.5 days/month
• Shifts: Scheduled 1 month in advance
• Night/Midnight Shifts: Occasionally included (open availability preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Audit 3 food outlets per day (approx. 2 hours/store), assessing:
• Food handling & storage
• Hygiene practices
• Regulatory compliance (SFA standards)
• Document findings and submit accurate reports promptly
• Provide clear feedback and corrective action plans to outlet managers
• Stay current with SFA guidelines and HACCP principles
• Travel to stores within an assigned cluster

Requirements

• WSQ Food Safety Course Level 3 (Food Hygiene Auditor) or Basic Food Hygiene Certificate recognized by SFA
• Prior food safety audit or inspection background
• Familiarity with HACCP or equivalent food safety systems
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication for reporting and follow-ups
• Able to work independently with good time management
