Front Desk Agent/ Night Audit

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Some shifts may include night audit responsibilities, ensuring the accuracy of daily financial records and overnight operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage front desk operations, including answering phone calls and responding to inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
• Perform clerical duties such as data entry, calendar management, and proofreading documents.
• Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure all materials are stocked and readily available for guests.
• Utilize computerized systems for booking appointments and managing schedules efficiently.
• Handle customer service issues with tact and resolve any concerns promptly.
• Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks as needed.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations across departments.
• Perform night audit duties as assigned, including balancing and reconciling daily transactions, posting room charges and payments, preparing financial and operational reports, ensuring credit card batches and deposits are processed correctly, and monitoring property security during overnight hours.

Experience

• Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role is preferred.
• Proficiency in clerical tasks including data entry and calendar management is essential.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are required.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn are key attributes for success in this role.

Pay: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour
