Job Summary

Morning Light is seeking a Full-Time Caregiver to join our evening/third shift team at The Abbie Hunt Bryce Home. Our 12-bedroom home is a free residence for terminally ill individuals without financial means or family support. Our staff provides around-the-clock care with the guidance and support of each resident's chosen hospice company. Responsibilities

Resident Care & Support

Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and ambulation

Providing toileting and incontinence care, including catheter checks and brief changes

Medication & Health Monitoring

Administer prescribed medications to residents per their care plan and complete appropriate documentation

Monitoring residents’ conditions and working in tandem with their hospice team to address any changes

Mealtime Support

Serve meals based on each resident’s individual needs and assist with feeding as needed

Light meal prep, kitchen cleanup, and dishwashing may be required

Environment & Room Care

Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable spaces for residents and visitors

Sweeping, mopping, bathroom sanitation, laundry, etc.

Teamwork & Communication

Coordinate with fellow caregivers to ensure smooth shift transitions and consistent resident care

Accurately document care activities, incidents, and updates in a timely manner

Emotional & Social Support

Provide compassionate support to residents and their families, fostering a warm, respectful, and comforting environment

Shift Details

Night Shifts: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Weekdays and Weekends

Additional Information

Employment is contingent upon completing a drug screening, TB test, and background check. While CNA certification and fluency in a second language are not required, they may enhance your effectiveness in this role.
