Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living or nursing home environments and will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and those requiring care. This role involves working closely with patients to ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
• Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including driving clients to appointments or outings.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Document daily activities, observations, and any changes in client health status accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Skills

• Proven experience in assisted living or senior care settings is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and patient care best practices.
• Ability to perform first aid and respond effectively in emergency situations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping others.
• Capability to drive safely and responsibly when transporting clients.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in following care plans.
• Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude towards elderly individuals and those requiring assistance.
