Full Time Nanny

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated full-time Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with various age groups, including infants and toddlers, and possess the skills necessary to ensure the safety, well-being, and development of children. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about childcare and enjoys engaging with children through educational activities and play. Our family has 5 children, from a newborn up to teenager.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and loving care to children, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Engage in age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
• Assist with daily routines, including feeding, diaper changing, and nap times for infants.
• Supervise playtime and facilitate social interactions among children.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up after activities.
• Help with light housekeeping including children's laundry, linens, and organization of their spaces
• Meal prep for children
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.
• Implement first aid procedures when necessary and ensure a safe play environment.
• House manager (activities such as running errands, assisting unpacking boxes and organizing the kitchen)
• Drive children to school as needed, nanny car provided
• Schedule: 7: 30 am - 4: 30 pm with a 1 hour lunch break
• Flexibility required for early starts or late evenings as needed
• Travel up to 4 weeks per year and occasional overnights

Requirements

• Proven experience in childcare or as a nanny/babysitter, particularly with infants and toddlers.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for children.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both children and parents.
• A clean background check is required prior to employment.
• Patience, reliability, and a genuine love for working with children are essential qualities.
• Love pets. We have 3 dogs

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
