Job Description
Full Time live-out nanny/house manager required for a loving Downtown Manhattan family with 3 children (ages 4, 8 and 10 yrs old) starting ASAP. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for all child related duties including interacting with their children in a stimulating, and age-appropriate way and coordinating schedules and activities.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be someone active, engaging and highly organized who is experienced in a busy household! The family values great communication skills and assertive, direct communicators. The ideal candidate is someone who is proactive and experienced with school age children. You will need to be someone who has a strong attention to detail, is reliable and who can show initiative and good instincts with daily tasks.
The candidate should enjoy working alongside a supportive household team. A Bachelor's degree is required (childhood education/special needs/child psychology preferred) to be considered for this role. Both parents travel for work occasionally, so a reliable and dependable individual is essential. Some travel during the summer and occasional overnights are expected (the family owns a home in CT). Location: Downtown Manhattan, NYC
Start date: Family is flexible for the perfect candidate - would like to start ASAP
Days/times: Monday through Friday, 10am to 8pm.
Children: Three children - two boys (age: 8 and 10), one daughter (age: 4)
Conditions: $35 - $45 per hour* plus unlimited metro card, sick/personal days, vacation and public holidays

- Authorization to work in the US
- A clean driver's license
- An understanding of managing a household with children
- Readiness to help with all housekeeping and house related task
- A well-suited demeanor for working with school age children
- Experience working with children with ADHD and/or special needs
- Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, maturity and high emotional intelligence
- Education or equivalent knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development
- Ability to complete all child related duties (including, but not limited to: meal preparation, cleaning up/tidying bedroom and play areas, laundry, researching and planning playdates and activities, etc
- Ability to commit for a minimum of 2 years for all permanent positions
- A clean background to pass our comprehensive background check and social media checks

- A four-year college degree from an accredited university
