About Shamrock Renewable Products Limited (SRPL)
Shamrock Renewable Products Limited produces a range of solid fuels including wood briquettes and wood pellets using renewable resources such as forestry biomass wood and willow, for both domestic and commercial consumers. Our new state-of-the-art production facility is located in Balrath, Kells, Co. Meath, A82 HD28. This will be the largest Carbon Neutral Green Energy biofuel production plant in Ireland.
We are currently seeking applications from flexible and reliable individuals to join our team as General Operatives. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, purpose driven environment. You will be a key part of the production team; supporting the safe and efficient operation of machinery, maintaining high quality standards, and ensuring smooth workflow throughout the plant.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Support the production process to ensure timely output of quality products
- Carry out regular checks and assist in identifying faults or maintenance needs
- Assist with cleaning, basic maintenance, and housekeeping of the production area
- Monitor and record production data as required
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
- Work collaboratively with other team members and departments
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment is desirable
- Good level of physical fitness – ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Basic mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Flexibility with shifts (including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and overtime if required)
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Desirable Experience
- Experience in a heavy industry or production environment
- Familiarity with machinery operation or maintenance
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Forklift licence or other relevant certifications
