We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Guest Service Agent to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all guests. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, playing a crucial role in their overall satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using hotel management software.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately processed.
- Manage phone systems effectively to handle incoming calls and relay messages to appropriate staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel management software is an advantage.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse clientele.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Knowledge of front desk operations and guest relations best practices.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to stand for long periods.
- Able to lift up to 40lbs.
