HDD Directional Driller

Recon is hiring for Edmonton, AB! We are looking for an experienced Directional Driller/Locator to start immediately. If you have experience, we want to hear from you! Email resume with history

• Operate Ditch witch/Vermeer in a safe and professional manner
• Comply with company policies and procedures, health and safety procedures, department of transportation and hazardous materials/waste requirements regulations
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation properly within set timelines; includes (but not limited to) daily logs, trip reports, and time sheets
• Follow all local, provincial, and federal compliance regulations and rules
• Perform pre and post trip inspections
• Perform general housekeeping to ensure units are operating properly and report any inefficiency to supervisor
• Observe all company environmental health and safety guidelines
• Be able to read drawing and locates to understand the job.
• Be familiar with Digi Trak Locating systems.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Be able to drive equipment to and from site safely

Qualifications:

• Operator should have a minimum 1 years of drilling experience
• Valid Class 5 or 3 drivers license with a clean commercial driver abstract is a bonus, but must have valid drivers license
• Obtained safety tickets including (but not limited to) First Aid/CPR, CSTS, Ground Disturbance would be considered an asset

Experience is valued/asset but willing to train the right individual

Additional Information:

• Compensation is commensurate with experience

Salary: $75,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
