Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in both home care and care home settings. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with daily living activities, ensuring that our clients receive the highest standard of care. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of care plans, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients in daily living activities and encourage independence where possible.
- Implement and follow care plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.
Experience
- Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
- Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
- Familiarity with developing and implementing care plans is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Basic IT skills are beneficial for maintaining records and using digital communication tools.

Pay: £13.70-£25.94 per hour
