Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents in a care home setting. This position requires effective communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of our clients. A driving licence is preferred for facilitating home care visits.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support.
- Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals to ensure the needs of each resident are met.
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and team members to provide updates on health and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in residents' conditions using IT systems.
- Support residents in engaging in social activities and promote their independence.
- Drive to various locations as required for home care visits, ensuring safe transport for clients.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.
Experience
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English are required to interact effectively with residents and colleagues.
- Familiarity with creating and following care plans is advantageous.
- A willingness to learn and adapt within a dynamic healthcare environment is essential.

Pay: £13.70-£23.36 per hour
