THE JOB:

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Kitchen Worker with a minimum of six (6) months in kitchen stewarding role to maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned areas. In this role, you will be responsible for deep cleaning kitchen equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. THE STARTING RATE: $19.05 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas and equipment, including deep cleaning hot holding and cooking equipment (e.g., charbroiler, griddle, deep fryer).

• Gather and wash pots and pans using a three-compartment sink or pot machine; sanitize and store them as needed.

• Clean walls, baseboards, floor drains, hand sinks, tables, and cutting boards; sweep, mop floors, and wash floor mats.

• Separate and remove trash, including biohazard clean-up as required, and maintain linen inventory by removing soiled items.

• Transport equipment, such as hot and cold boxes or speed racks, between hallways and kitchens to other outlets.

• Operate and maintain large electronic or gas-operated equipment, including floor scrubbers and pallet jacks.

• Comply with health and safety regulations and departmental policies, including SNHD and OSHA.

• Complete mandatory health and safety training and report equipment concerns to the supervisor.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Effectively communicate in English, both oral and written forms

• Willing to work Full-Time role, overnight shift: 11:00pm - 7:45am including weekends and holidays

• Minimum six (6) months Kitchen Stewarding experience is preferred

• Familiarity filtering kitchen grease/oils, utilizing detergents, degreasers, proper usage of kitchen chemicals, biohazards and basic knowledge of kitchen equipment

Pay Rate

The rate for this role is:

$19.05

This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.

Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
