HGV Class 1 Driver - 4 on 4 off Nights

Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for Class 1 C+E 4 on 4 off night work

This is a based on a 10-hour shift per day, additional hours may be required due to company requirements - average weekly earnings of £559.00 per week – PAID WEEKLY - on an average of 35 hours, overtime then applies

Additional shifts are available at a set rate

You will join our team based out of our Chorley – PR7 Site.

The role consists of 2 loads per shift from depot to Manufacturer utilising a mixture of LST & standard mega trailers

Essential Criteria:

• Hold a valid C+E licence, Driver Card & Driver CPC Card
• Over 12 months experience HGV driving
• Experience of curtain sided work and strapping procedure
• LST (XL) trailer experience preferred but not essential as training provided

· Safe and efficient loading of your vehicle, carry out all necessary safety checks via an app and ensure customer paperwork is completed accurately and returned to the office.

· Someone who has a positive "can-do " attitude, is flexible and reliable with experience of delivering fantastic service every day.

· A professional with a good understanding of UK Road Network and Health & Safety procedures

· Professional and presentable approach to both customers and vehicles

· Understand and comply to tachograph and driving hour regulations

· Flexibility and adaptability
