HGV Class 1 Driver

Browns Food Group, one of Scotland’s leading food manufacturers, has vacancies with immediate start for Class 1 HGV Drivers in our Mostell Logistics business.

If you’d like to join our continually growing business and friendly team, operating from 7 manufacturing sites across the UK, then we would love to meet you. You’ll be delivering chilled and frozen products in our modern fleet to our vast range of customers across the UK in an efficient and legal way.

Key Responsibilities

· Delivery of goods to customers and uplift of returns.

· Promote a good company image and liaise with customers.

· Reporting of faults on vehicles to Manager or Administrator.

· Correct and timely production of associated paperwork.

· Ensure all legal aspects of the job are strictly adhered to.

· Ensure the security of both vehicle and product.

Shift Patterns: Various shifts available including:

• Tuesday - Saturday (Tramping)
• 4 on 4 off – Nightshift (Tramping)

Licence/Certification:

• LGV Class 1 Licence
• DQC card required

Salary:

£14.00 per hour Mon – Fri (dayshift)

£18.00 per hour Sat – Sun (dayshift)

£15.00 per hour Mon – Fri (nightshift)

£19.00 per hour Sat – Sun (nightshift)

Experience:

• Commercial driving: 1 year (required)
