HGV Class 1 Driver – Day & Night Shifts – Immediate Start!

We’re expanding and looking for reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our transport team as soon as possible, you will be part of a high-performing operation with excellent support and fair, consistent work. Ongoing work not just for Christmas.
We Offer:
- £900/week, salaried, approx 50 to 55 hours per week, PAYE only.
- Immediate start – consistent, ongoing work
- Day and night shifts, You will be expected to work on our general haulage division which will be Monday to Friday with 4 nights out, as well as cover on our contract for well known online retailer, when doing this the work will be mainly nights, and will be Sunday to Thursday night. This also usually requires 4 nights out.

- Nights out paid at £25/night out and a daily meal allowance of £10/day if working away. Both tax free.

The Role:
- Driving Class 1 HGV vehicles for regional trunking or deliveries
- Mixture of trailer swaps, RDC deliveries and collections as well as general haulage work on curtainside trailers.
- Accurate and timely completion of delivery paperwork
- Working in line with WTD and tachograph rules
- Excellent vehicle care and daily walkaround checks
- Representing the business in a professional manner to clients and colleagues

Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC, and digital tachograph card
- Maximum 6 penalty points – no DD, DR, IN, or CD codes
- Minimum 12 months' recent HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred, although new pass drivers may be considered.
- Right to work in the UK
- Able to commute to our Droitwich depot
