Night Shift. Full Time. Job & Knock.
Sunday - Thursday Evenings (6pm - 3am)
1 Weekend Shift Every 2 Weeks (Weekend Shift is ALWAYS shorter)
City & Suburban Waste is a family run waste management business, delivering recycling and zero-to-landfill waste solutions to our commercial customers, across Southwest London. We are an enthusiastic team, focused on delivering best in class service to our customers.

All of the management team are experienced dustcart drivers, so you will never be asked to do anything we haven't done. We are a team.

You will work the same areas day in, day out, to ensure familiarity with your route and the customers you will be servicing. Conducting collections of wheelie bins and some kerbside bags from Trade customers only.
ALWAYS with safety as your number 1 priority.
Summary
- Conducting empties of wheelie bins and occasionally sacks, on a similar route every day.
- Carry out thorough daily inspection checks as a legal requirement, complete defect and damage reports and other associated paperwork and follow the escalation process to manager.
- Be fully compliant with the Transport WTD within tachograph legislation requirements.
- Always ensure full compliance with Company Health & Safety procedures and regulations.
- Follow appropriate reporting process where necessary in the event of incident and near-miss occurrences.
- Ensure uniform/PPE is always worn whilst on duty and is kept in a clean, tidy and serviceable manner in accordance with company and Health & Safety requirements.
- Always provide a high level of customer service to external and internal customers.
- Effectively report contaminated bins and non-conforming waste in a timely manner to the Operations Manager at the end of a shift, producing relevant paperwork, duly completed with job tickets.
- Follow company processes and procedures regarding completion of documentation and paperwork.
- Report for work on time and ensure satisfactory completion of duty hours.
Qualifications
- Valid Category C Licence.
- Valid CPC
- Proven experience in commercial driving.
- Strong driving skills with a focus on safety.
- Familiarity with a dustcart would be ideal.
- Ability to navigate various routes efficiently.
- An excellent communicator.

Pay: £45,000.00 per year
