Transportation Night Shift Full-time

Job Description

We are seeking to employ a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our growing team based in Moorends, Doncaster.

This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Transport goods to various locations safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Ensure that all items transported are secured properly.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transit.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads.
  • Communicate effectively with office team and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the transportation process.

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driving licence (C+E) with a clean driving record (Maximum 6 points).
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for safe driving.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Good communication skills for interaction with clients and team members.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading at sites.
