Summary
As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential support to patients in their homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Reporting to a healthcare supervisor, your core responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, patient care, and maintaining a safe environment in line with HIPAA regulations. Your premium skills in patient observation and Alzheimer's care will enhance the quality of care provided. Additionally, your relevant skills in meal preparation, medical documentation, and long-term care experience will be vital in delivering compassionate and effective support to seniors and individuals with disabilities in the MIAMI area.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care and assistance to clients in their homes, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and document patient health and progress, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including light housekeeping and laundry.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in home and community care, particularly in patient care and senior care settings
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology
- Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide Alzheimer's or memory care
- Familiarity with EHR systems and medical documentation practices
- CPR certification and experience in long-term care or assisted living environments
- Compassionate caregiver with a background in working with individuals with developmental disabilities
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
