We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to join our team at a hotel. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role is essential in creating memorable experiences for our guests, and it requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations.
- Process payments and manage cash handling procedures.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Assist with night audit duties as required.
- Work unsupervised, think outside the box and ability to handle guest concerns.
- Able to work well in a team environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or front desk operations.
- Strong phone etiquette and excellent communication skills are essential.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing guest interactions.
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles is beneficial.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, emails, and use of computer programs.
- Familiarity with hotel management software is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- A positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Standing for long periods of time during shift.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Pay: From $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
