Hotel Night Porter

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Porter to join our team in providing exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment, contributing to a welcoming and hospitable environment. A background in hospitality or guest services is preferred, along with strong communication skills.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with their luggage as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the lobby, entrance areas, and other public spaces.
• Provide information about the hotel’s amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
• Support the front desk team during busy periods by managing guest flow and assisting with check-in/check-out processes.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is highly desirable but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail in all tasks.
