Hotel Night Porter

We have an new vacancy for the role of Night Porter to join our existing team, Working alongside a second nights colleague each evening ensuring our hotel and guests are well looked after with an emphasis on hotel security and compliance throughout the evening.

Your duties will include:

• Welcoming any late arrivals and checking guests in and out.
• Answering the telephone and addressing any enquiries.
• Looking after any guest requests or concerns
• Conducting and logging regular security walks throughout the hotel
• Cleaning duties within public areas Reception / Bar / Function Rooms external entrance areas / steps.
• Following all night shift procedures and any other duties as and when required or requested.
• Completing the nights cleaning checklist ensuring public areas are kept clean ready for our guests each morning
• Setting and clearing event rooms as and when required.

Evening shift patterns are either 10pm - 7am or 11pm - 8am and can be 3 or 4 nights per week.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skill and previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
