Kind and empathetic Nanny/House Manager needed in Phoenix, AZ!

• Charge(s): M, 16 years old; F, 7 years old; M, 2 years old*Care will mostly be for F, 7 and M, 2.*
• Hours: Monday-Friday 6:30-5:30pm **There is an option during the school year to have a break in the afternoon (unpaid) from 9:00-1:00pm while M,2 is in school if desired.
• Guaranteed Weekly Hours: 40
• Paid Time Off Benefits: Nanny will earn 40 hours of paid time off every 6 months; or, 80 hours per year. PTO may be used for any reason, including; vacation, illness, medical appointments, family care, and personal business. In addition to, 6 paid federal holidays which fall on the nanny’s normal Monday-Friday working day (New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day).
• Driving Required: Yes, nanny will drive their own vehicle while working (milage will be reimbursed)
• Cross Streets: North Tatum Blvd and North Shea Blvd
• Starting Hourly Rate:$28-30/hour DOE on a W2
• Projected start date: As soon as possible
• Position Duration: Long term

Nanny/House Manager Job Requirements:

• Will be required to; tidy up the house throughout the day. Making sure things are put back as they were before they got there. Resetting the home by, unloading and reloading the dishwasher, light cleaning, general organization, assisting with family laundry, running errands, and; other House Management related tasks will be required.
• Nanny should be active with charges. Taking them for walks around the neighborhood (weather permitting), playing in the yard, etc.
• Must have a safe, reliable vehicle to drive to and from work.
• Nanny must be comfortable driving children home from school.
• Must be comfortable swimming and be comfortable administering life saving measures in and around a body of water, if needed.
• Should be comfortable with prepping meals for the children and the family, when requested.
• Nanny should encourage good manners, a positive attitude, and good listening with charges.
• Nanny will assist with the children’s homework and make sure all homework is completed for the next school day.
• On Tuesdays, Nanny will make sure the children are ready for bed when parents arrive home.
• Nanny will keep track of charges’ needs and communicate with the family to order what is needed.
• Must love dogs and be comfortable caring for them, when needed.
• Privacy is of the utmost concern. No pictures should ever be taken of the children or the home and posted on social media, at any time. Nanny may take pictures on their phone to send to the parents.
• Ideally, willing to do occasional overnights and travel with the family.
• Should be able to keep the children on their daily schedule/routine.
• Should have a good understanding of healthy eating habits.
• Phones and other electronics use should be limited while employee is working.
• Preferred discipline is redirection with explanation when needed. Nanny should be firm, yet loving with the children in this regard. They should encourage good manners, a positive attitude, and attentive listening with the children.
• Keeping a daily log household duties and activities will be appreciated. You will have a “nanny binder”; as a go-to for this type of communication. Your “nanny binder” should include: emergency contact information, daily activities chart, receipts submitted pocket, nanny timecards, and other important information.
• Must pass a background check and have a clean driving record.
• Must have a current CPR and first aid certification.
• Must abide by a no smoking and no vaping policy at all times.
