Hygiene operative - Manufacturing - 5pm - 2am (5 days per week)

5 days per week INC. SOME WEEKENDS

We are currently seeking to recruit a Night shift Industrial factory cleaner for the Hygiene Department. Reporting to the Cleaning supervisor you will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective cleaning service in the production facility.

Hours of work are 5pm - 2am

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

• Responsible for providing a high-level cleaning service to specific areas of the department;
• Dismantle relevant production equipment to enable cleaning to be carried out;
• Cleaning of, equipment, tables, crates, lines, walls and floors.
• Efficient sorting of waste to the skips and balers
• Use cleaning chemicals as instructed and in a safe manner;
• Chemical training will be provided.
• Use high pressure washing equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company cleaning standards;
• Be able to follow a planned cleaning schedule.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

· Have a degree of physical capability due to the manual nature of the work

• Essentially, we are seeking a determined, self-motivated individual who can maintain and improve on our high levels of cleanliness;

· Have experience working with a manufacturing or processing environment

• Have excellent communication and time management skills and be able to work to tight deadlines.
• Basic English

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
