Future Industrial Services is a national provider of a wide range of industrial services activities to businesses such as the energy from waste power stations, the oil & gas industry and utilities. Our activities include power station cleaning during shutdown periods, tank and other confined space cleaning, plus other specialist industrial cleaning and hazardous waste removal, treatment and disposal.
Business success and expansion in recent years has seen Future grow to be one of the largest suppliers of specialist industrial services in the country and very recently expanded further by joining the Augean Group. Together the group now employs over 600 staff in depots throughout the UK from Aberdeen to Plymouth.
The Role
We are currently looking for two Industrial Services Operatives to join our hugely successful mobile industrial services crew based in Newport.
You will be working as part of a team carrying out various industrial cleaning tasks including high pressure water jetting, working with the most powerful vacuumation vehicles, confined space working, tank cleaning, site clearance and spill response. This is a physical role involving manual handling and working outdoors as well as in confined spaces. When working away shifts are 12 hours but the financial rewards and other benefits are excellent.
What We Provide
We offer a competitive rate of pay with higher rates of pay for overtime, night shifts and weekend working; on target earnings can exceed £50k PA. You will be required to work away for up to two weeks at a time but hotel accommodation and subsistence will be paid; there is a 6-monthly bonus scheme, a life insurance scheme, private healthcare, enhanced maternity and paternity pay, sick pay and company pension along with 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays per year.
About You
Industrial Services experience is essential to apply for the role of Industrial Services Operative, however if you already hold a CCNSG safety passport qualification and full driving licence, we will provide additional training for the right candidate. We will put you through City & Guilds Working in High Risk Confined Spaces and High Pressure Water Jetting.
You must be hard-working and not afraid of working outdoors, at heights or in confined spaces. Due to the hazards of working in such environments, you will have to pass occupational health medicals to assess your fitness to work and we have a strict safety policy - you must be the sort of person who will embrace our safety culture.
You will be working on customer sites and you need to be professional and a good ambassador for the company ensuring the customer experience is a positive one.

Pay: £25,542.40-£50,000.00 per year
