Summary
ERMC Customer Service Agents are the first line of defense for our customers! This is a customer-facing role, providing first-class customer service to everyone. You are friendly, outgoing and love to make people happy on a daily basis!
Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities
- Greets, escorts, and checks passengers in for flight in a friendly, prompt, and courteous manner.
- Lifts and/or loads passenger luggage in/out of vehicles and transports to check-in counter.
- Enters passenger information into computer system and verifies that baggage meets weight requirements.
- Prints bag tags and boarding cards for passengers using the ticketing system.
- Reads and verifies passenger identification and boarding card are correct.
- Communicates and collects all applicable fees such as additional bag fee and administrative fees to passenger prior to processing transaction in computer system.
- Provides information about departures, arrivals and terminal facilities.
- Prepares paperwork to report tips to comply with IRS and Company requirements.

Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
- Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to type and or use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet the requirements of the role.
- Able to understand documents, learn and follow ticketing procedures, and other rules and regulations.
- One+ year of relevant experience.
- Able to communicate information and instructions verbally and/or via radio equipment.
- Able to communicate effectively in a professional manner.
