Job Description
Westlinks are looking for reliable and customer focused Joiners to join our team. Works will mainly consist of planned and reactive maintenance such as void repairs, kitchen, bathrooms and general maintenance tasks.

Role and Responsibilities
- Experience in the Maintenance Industry is essential
- Carpentry and Joinery qualification is essential and would require the candidate to have general all-round knowledge of basic handyman tasks such as painting, floor tiling, basic plumbing, patch plastering, wall tiling and ceiling repair.
- Undertake maintenance tasks, call outs, response & repair of all types of Joinery & general building items.
- A good understanding of General Building services
- Must be Flexible and be prepared to work together to hit the clients goals, help out other trades when required and have a can do, enthusiastic, first time fix attitude.
- To understand & complete all work-related documentation accurately on time and to exceed the customer's expectations.
- To understand & comply with policies and procedures
- To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner & comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
- To attend, fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required
- Must hold a full driving license and be prepared to travel.
- Must be able to work on own initiative and be competent at completing paperwork accurately.
Person Specification
- Experience as a Maintenance Joiner
- City and Guilds or NVQ level 2 in Carpentry and joinery
- Must be willing to work at height
- A good general experience of working in occupied premises
- A good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
- The ability to communicate at all levels
- Must be IT literate / be able to use a tablet to complete work sheets
- A customer focused approach
- Must hold a full driving license and be prepared to travel around the region
- Must be prepared to join an on-call rota,
- Must be Flexible in working hours as occasionally may be required to start work early, or work out of normal hours, ie night work, weekend working.
- Must be able to work on own initiative and be competent at completing paperwork accurately.
