Job Description:
We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team. You’ll play a key role in preparing our signature boards and small plates, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly, and supporting front-of-house staff during busy service periods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and plating of cheese and charcuterie boards, tapas, and small dishes
• Portion and assemble ingredients according to set menus and presentation standards
• Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic work environment at all times
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries
• Support with dishwashing and general kitchen duties as needed
• Help with restocking and prep ahead of service
• Communicate effectively with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth and timely service
• Uphold food safety, hygiene, and health regulations

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food prep environment (preferred but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure, especially during busy service
• A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Passion for great food and an appreciation for artisan ingredients
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £11.44-£11.45 per hour

• Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
