We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Leader to oversee our culinary team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Kitchen Leader, you will play a crucial role in guiding your team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen activities, ensuring efficient food preparation and service.
- Assist in cooking and food production, leading by example to inspire your team.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene practices in accordance with health regulations.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with management to develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
- Help resolve any issues that arise during service, ensuring a smooth operation at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a kitchen or restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food production processes and culinary techniques.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
- A passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
- Culinary qualifications or certifications are an advantage but not essential.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.21-£15.66 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
