Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Kitchen Manager to oversee our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the restaurant and food industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for food preparation. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly, maintaining high standards of food safety, and leading a team of cooks and kitchen staff to deliver outstanding dining experiences.
Duties
- Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Oversee food preparation processes to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
- Implement and maintain food safety protocols to comply with health regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while minimizing waste.
- Develop new menu items in collaboration with chefs, considering seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
Skills
- Proven experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment, with a strong understanding of food preparation techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the food industry.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems for managing orders and inventory tracking is preferred.
- Bartending experience is a plus but not required; knowledge of beverage pairings can enhance menu offerings.

Pay: $45,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
