Laboratory Technician

Position: Purification Technician

Location: Coralville, IA 52241 (100% Onsite)

Shift: Wednesday–Friday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)

Pay Rate: $21.92/hr

Duration: 12-month contract

Dress Code: Lab-appropriate attire

• Excellent attention to detail

• Lab experience or BA degree in a science-related field

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate automatic/semi-automatic lab machinery per SOPs and safety protocols

• Monitor equipment controls, pressures, and other metrics to ensure process accuracy

• Assemble, troubleshoot, and maintain lab instrumentation and mechanical/electrical components

• Perform decontamination and product transfer tasks following strict procedural standards

• Support daily operations with data-driven problem solving and process improvement

Requirements:

• Associate degree in a science-related field or 18+ months of lab experience

• Comfortable with PC programs and Microsoft Office

• Bachelor’s degree or Life Science work experience is a plus

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy and urgency
