License Security Officer (1st shift)

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, to deter theft and unauthorized access.
• Manage access control by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by applying conflict management skills and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when needed.
• Perform safety checks and provide first aid or CPR if necessary to assist injured individuals until professional help arrives.
• Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or security breaches and implementing preventative measures.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and familiarity with loss prevention techniques.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure during emergencies.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods during overnight shifts.
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with team members, visitors, and emergency responders.
• Prior experience with security systems or law enforcement background is a plus.
