Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Licensed Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Commercial, Industrial and Residential electrical work and a strong understanding of electrical systems, including low voltage applications. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. The Electrician will work collaboratively with other tradespeople to build and renovate facilities while utilizing their expertise in reading schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems according to specifications and codes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
  • Work with low voltage systems, ensuring proper installation and functionality.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction or renovation projects.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in an industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as schematics and blueprints.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to electrical work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on renovation projects.
  • Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations.
  • A maintenance person background is a plus but not mandatory.
