Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) OVERNIGHT PART TIME

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in providing exceptional care to adolescents aged 11-17 in a residential mental health treatment setting. This position plays a vital role in supporting our clients' mental and physical well-being through comprehensive nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor their effects, ensuring compliance with prescribed treatment plans.
• Perform daily vital signs checks and monitor clients' physical health status.
• Conduct weekly nursing assessments, documenting findings and reporting concerns to the treatment team.
• Assist providers in seeing clients weekly, preparing for and supporting assessments, and coordinating care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support clients dealing with behavioral health issues, including self-harm, aggression, suicidal ideation, substance abuse, trauma, mood instability, depression, and anxiety.
• Respond effectively to crises and assist in de-escalating situations when necessary.
• Educate and support clients in understanding their health and treatment plans.

Qualifications:

• Current LPN license in GA.
• Experience or strong interest in working with adolescents in a behavioral health setting.
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications and their use within the adolescent population.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to handle crises calmly and effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Hourly Rate: $33-$40/hr

Shift: Overnight 7p-7a

Pay: $33.00 - $40.00 per hour
