We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals that delight our customers while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure food safety.
• Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and presentation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• A passion for cooking and the food industry is highly desirable.
