Job Description
More experience is a plus and pay is negotiable based on qualifications. Punctuality and reliability is a must. Applicants must be able to work directly with their lead or individually to efficiently execute all kitchen responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation
- Follow proper cooking techniques and presentation standards
- Monitor food quality and freshness
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Culinary skills, including knife handling, cooking techniques, and recipe execution
- Proficient in food preparation, including measuring ingredients, chopping vegetables, and marinating meats
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper hygiene practices
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely meal preparation
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members
