Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Live-in Carer to provide one-to-one care and support to an individual in their own home. As a Live-in Carer, you will reside in the client’s home, offering consistent assistance with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises.
- Administer or prompt medication as prescribed.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Carry out light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Accompany the client to appointments, social activities, or outings as required.
- Monitor the client’s health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the relevant professionals or family members.
- Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a live-in carer, support worker, or similar role.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices and personal care techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and empathy.
- Physically fit and capable of performing care duties.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Right to work in the [UK/US/Other Region].
- DBS check (or equivalent) required or willingness to undergo one.
Preferred:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Valid driving license (if required for the role).
- Experience with specific conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s, stroke, or physical disabilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to £170.00 per day

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bolton BL6 7AX: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)
Experience:
- Home care: 1 year (preferred)
