Job Overview
The Loss Prevention person plays a critical role in safeguarding the assets of the organization by implementing effective loss prevention strategies and ensuring compliance with security policies. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying potential risks and developing solutions to mitigate losses while maintaining a safe environment for employees and customers.

Duties

• Develop and implement loss prevention policies and procedures to minimize theft and fraud.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of security measures, including surveillance systems and access controls.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of CCTV systems to monitor activities within the premises.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during criminal investigations and provide necessary support.
• Train and supervise loss prevention staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and effective conflict management techniques.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, investigations, and findings for management review.
• Analyze data related to theft trends and develop strategies to address identified vulnerabilities.
• Serve as a liaison between management, employees, and law enforcement regarding loss prevention matters.

Skills

• Certification in Loss Prevention or related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in law enforcement or security management is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of surveillance technologies, including CCTV systems.
• Excellent report writing skills for documenting incidents and investigations clearly and accurately.
• Familiarity with criminal investigation techniques to effectively address theft-related issues.
• Proficient in conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various departments to promote a culture of security awareness.
