Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, particularly in a home healthcare environment. This role requires a strong understanding of various medical conditions and the ability to perform essential nursing tasks effectively. The LPN will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assist in the development of individualized care plans.
- Perform airway management and suture procedures as needed.
- Support patients with home community care and internal medicine needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care, particularly for patients with disabilities.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive care strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Requirements
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Experience in senior care, medical-surgical nursing, or occupational health is preferred.
- Proficient in airway management techniques and suture procedures.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
