Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, focusing on their physical and emotional well-being. You will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients, particularly in settings involving geriatrics and primary care.

Duties

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist in medical imaging procedures and interpret results when necessary.
• Provide care for patients with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Perform airway management techniques and gastric lavage as required.
• Utilize Epic software for patient documentation and management.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care, including ICD-9 coding for diagnoses.
• Assist with suturing procedures under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
