Due to strong growth and excellent results, Cloverdale Paint Inc. has an incredible opportunity for a Resin Kettle Operator to join our team in Winnipeg, MB. Previous experience in a similar Machine Operating role is an asset.
This is a permanent, full-time role. The successful candidate must be available to work ALL of the following shifts:
- Day shift - 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
- Afternoon shift - 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm
- Midnight shift - 10:00 pm to 6:30 am
Night shifts will receive a premium to be applied in addition to the hourly base salary.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reading and understanding batch tickets
- In-process testing and interpretation of results, rapidly and accurately
- Record keeping and reports on daily operations, scheduling and assisting in inventory control
- Accurate weighing and loading of kettle
- Capable of all computer operations
- All mechanical operations of the resin plant
- Maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Emergency and safety procedures
- Operation of forklift and hoists, forklift certificate
- Dangerous Goods Certificate
- Maintain clean work area
- Report shortages to Production Supervisor
- Follow plant safety procedures
- Follow written procedures in place for this position
- Report all safety hazards to the Production Supervisor
- Follow work schedule
QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of high school diploma and/or 2 years experience in related field
- Strong communication skills, and be competent in math and numeric comprehension
- Ability to be trained and certified on mobile equipment
- Ability to read and understand formulas
- Available for shift work and overtime
- Physically capable of lifting and maneuvering 50 pounds
- Capable of standing for long periods of time
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Dependable and responsible individual with the ability to work with minimum supervision

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
