Job Description
Overview:
MYRTLE BEACH, SC (NATIONWIDE SEARCH) -A warm, entrepreneurial widowed father in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a FULL-TIME LIVE-IN NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER to support his 8-year-old son. The father splits his time between Myrtle Beach and Nevada and travels for work 2–3 weeks per month. During his time away, the nanny will provide 24/7 care and household support. When Dad is home, the nanny will enjoy significant downtime, including at least one full week off and two weekends off per month.
The child is a kind, emotionally mature boy who has handled the passing of his mother two years ago with grace and resilience. He is calm, easygoing, and responsive to gentle reasoning. He attends school from 8:40 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and participates in after-school activities such as tennis, gymnastics, and piano. Their home, located just a 7-minute walk from school and 4 minutes from the beach, offers live-in accommodations in a private master bedroom with an en suite bathroom for the nanny’s use.
Responsibilities include school drop-off and pick-up, helping with homework, preparing meals for the child, managing the household while Dad is away, caring for their friendly Labrador retriever, and supporting the overall rhythm of the home. A family vehicle is provided. Travel is not required, though frequent overnights are expected when the father is out of town. The family offers a competitive salary, paid time off, paid holidays, and health insurance. The role is open to out-of-state candidates, and relocation assistance is available. While Russian-speaking candidates are preferred, it is not a requirement.
