Job Description
This nanny position is for someone who is currently looking for part time employment during the work week 2:00pm to 6:00 pm and or 2:00pm to 8:00pm; flexible schedule Monday-Friday in Laguna Hills. Must have at least two days available for nanny shift .
The nanny should be flexible and helpful with infant childcare. Must have at least 5-7 years of infant care for the bundle of joy who is 7 months old . It’s a plus if the nanny speaks Spanish, Arabic and or French.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for infant in a safe and loving environment
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as reading and singing
- Prepare bottles for infant, ensuring they are nutritious and meet any dietary restrictions
- Diaper changing and holding infant the correct way at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized play area
- Follow parents' instructions regarding routines, discipline, and any specific care needs
- Ensure the safety of infant at all times
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving, babysitting, daycare, or childcare roles
- Experience working with infants
- Knowledge of basic first aid procedures and ability to handle minor injuries or emergencies
- Familiarity with age-appropriate developmental milestones and activities
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children and parents
- Patience and understanding to handle challenging behavior or situations calmly
- Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
