Job Description
Summary:
The Nanny/Personal Assistant will support both childcare needs and household/personal administrative tasks for a private
family home. This hybrid role requires someone who is flexible, proactive, and highly dependable, capable of balancing
hands-on care with assistant responsibilities. Role is a Full-Time position, Tuesday through Saturday, 1 pm – 9 pm with
generous benefits.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Nanny Duties:
Provide attentive and loving care to three (3) children.
Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities, play, and educational enrichment.
Assist with homework, school drop-offs/pick-ups, and extracurriculars.
Maintain a clean and organized environment for children (e.g. playroom, bedrooms).
Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks for children.
Monitor children’s health, safety, and emotional well-being.
Communicate regularly with parents about child development and daily updates.
Understand and follow safety procedures.
Perform projects and other duties as assigned.
Personal Assistant Duties:
Manage calendars and appointments.
Run errands for owner as needed; assist during estate events.
Assist with light housekeeping or coordination with cleaners.
Coordinate family travel logistics and packing.
Book appointments and handle basic correspondence or phone calls.
Help plan events and activities, such as charitable events or the children’s birthday parties.
Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
Perform projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or its equivalent preferred.
Minimum 4+ years of experience in a similar Nanny/Personal Assistant role for a private estate.
CPR/First Aid Certification (or willing to obtain).
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Tech-savvy and comfortable with basic office software/apps.
Trustworthy, mature, and professional demeanor.
Must be high energy and reliable.
Ability to communicate and understand English and able to follow the precise directions of the estate owners.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, take initiative, solve problems and adapt while maintaining attention to detail.
Must be flexible with working schedule as some evenings and weekends are required.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform
the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit,
kneel, walk, talk, see, hear, push, pull, climb, bend, and stoop. The employee frequently is required to stand, (for up to eight
(8) hours), walk, climb, use manual dexterity to operate tools used in the course of work, hear sufficient to hear conversations
in person and via telephone and radio, and vision sufficient for reading and distance sight. The employee is occasionally
required to reach, push, and pull with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
Physical dexterity may involve stretching, proper placement of legs, and use of arms and hands in repetitive motions. The
employee must be able to maintain constant alertness to multiple concurrent activities occurring, including the activities of
other employees and contractors, the operation of stationary equipment and the movement of mobile equipment. Reasonable
