Job Description
Our client, a global leader in aerospace and defense technology, is actively hiring an Incident Manager in Annapolis, MD! This will be supporting the night shift 11 PM -7:30 AM.
This is a 12-month W2 contract with benefits offered!
As an Incident Manager , you’ll support the Tier 2 CAS Network Operations Center (NOC), monitoring network systems, engaging telecom providers, and ensuring the restoration of critical services. You’ll work on-site at the Annapolis, MD facility and train across Transport,
DataLink, and Applications functions within the first 4–6 months .
Responsibilities:
- Monitor network and communication systems, engaging telecom providers to restore services quickly.
- Document and update incident information accurately and promptly in the incident management tool.
- Diagnose and resolve network and system issues within scope, escalating complex problems as needed.
- Collaborate with teams across Transport, DataLink, and Applications to support customer and business unit needs.
Requirements:
- Network+ certification
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols
- Experience working with Cisco devices
- Understanding of ITIL/ITSM principles
- Experience with HSRP and BGP routing protocols
Preferred Skills:
- CCNA certification
