NEW Kitchen Assistant/ Cook for breakfast/ lunch and Afternoon Tea Day Time Only

We are looking for a part-time catering assistant/cook. Dishes will include breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea to join our Norwich team. Day time shifts only. No Evening Shift required. You must be available to work during the week and weekends.

The ideal candidate will be available part time. Must be available between the hours of 8:30am-5:30pm Including Saturdays.

Must have experience in preparing/cooking hot and cold dishes within a high volume commercial kitchen setting or out side catering. Have knowledge of allergens ( training will be provided ) with a willingness to learn attitude. The ideal candidate will be a great team player, whom can follow instructions but work self efficiently through out service.

Job Role Includes

• To learn the opening and closing procedures of the kitchen.
• Being familiar and able to produce all sandwich, toasties, afternoon tea, and light hot dishes within agreed quality and time parameters.
• Being familiar and able to prepare sufficient ingredients each day to satisfy the kitchen / business needs.
• To be familiar and able to produce scones and other baked goods each morning as required by the restaurant.
• To assist the Supervisor in their duties throughout the day as required by the rota.
• To prepare all takeaway and platter requirements on a daily basis..
• The maintenance of effective hygiene and housekeeping systems as directed by the Manager and company procedures.
• Respecting all health & safety requirements in relation to the kitchen area, other staff and oneself.
• Any other reasonable requests for assistance in the effective running of the tearooms / restaurant.

Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
