Night Care Assistant

Temporary Position - Female Care Assistant required to work 20 hours a minimum of 2 nights a week 9pm to 7am in an all female residential care home, preferred candidate to be over 21 and female. 4 week set rota, Nights to be worked are to be set on completion of induction process but will include weekdays and weekends on a set rota system. Duties to include personal care of residents during the night including toileting, ironing and laundry, light cleaning duties, completing necessary paperwork and serving breakfast. Strong communication, numeracy, and IT skills will be essential in documenting care and interacting effectively with both residents and the care team. Previous care experience in care sector essential and NVQ2 in care preferred but not essential as training will be given. The successful candidate will need to provide a clean DBS check and hold basic numeracy/literacy skills. Pay increases for weekend work, experience, length of service, qualifications and bank holidays.
